“ Visited lavenham today and perused the menu outside. The pub itself looked welcoming especially the blazing fire. The menu had lots of options for me but not for my wife who's vegetarian. There's a note on the menu stating that dishes can be 'adapted' for vegetarians, but I think you'll find that a lot of vegetarians would be put off from asking for something to be 'adapted' especially for them. They will think that they are making extra work for someone and being a nuisance. This is how my wife felt, so we didn't go in and have a drink and a meal by their cosy fire. Hopefully in the future there will be a vegetarian section on the menu and vegetarians can just say 'i'll have that please' , just like all the 'normal' people Five stars in anticipation of a vegetarian section on the menu before we're too old to drive down to lavenham ”
